e-Cycle was honored to receive the award for Outstanding Service (Companies under 250 Employees) at the 2011 TechColumbus Innovation Awards on Thursday, February 2. e-Cycle was selected out of a prestigious list of 29 finalists.
The TechColumbus Innovation Awards celebrates and honors individuals and teams in a variety of disciplines. Each award category is an important component of the technology and innovation community. Receiving the top honor in an award category showcases the dramatic impact of the awardee’s contributions in Central Ohio and beyond. Keynote speakers for the evening included Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, The Ohio State University Professor E. Gordon Gee, and Limited Brands business mogul Les Wexner.
During the awards, more than 1000 business leaders joined TechColumbus to honor companies and individuals whose innovations help accelerate economic growth in Central Ohio and accelerate the future of innovation. Battelle was the presenting sponsor for the evening.
Finalists for the Outstanding Service Award were Central Ohio companies that had defined, introduced, and marketed a technology-based service. Through this service, the companies must have demonstrated success in addressing an industry need or market niche.
